Join us for an informal gathering to celebrate Chris's life and the friendship she inspired.
Chris enjoyed a long and active life. With her fellow adventurer and husband of 62 years, Douglas Gandy, she thrived while wilderness canoe camping, cycling, hiking, back-packing, Nordic skiing and travelling to over 70 countries. Her fruitful and varied career in speech pathology included founding and growing Gandy Associates, a company specializing in accent training. With an earnest desire to make the world a better place, Chris established the Gandy Charitable Foundation and the Outreach Award at the University of Toronto Speech Pathology faculty. Chris's sincerity, companionship, and contagious energy were valued by her many loved ones, and her presence will be greatly missed.
